Do Ladybirds Bite?
No Ladybirds do not bite! Well there is one exception which is the multicoloured Asian Ladybird. They nibble rather than bite and it's not a sinking of teeth or even a drawing of blood. The
Asian Ladybird can be found through the United States through accidental transport and control introduction to control aphids populations. It is fair to say that when they do land on your skin there is a good chance they won't bite and instead are seeking out moisture.
This is not to say that they do not have a defence which you can find out about in the Poisonous Ladybird section.
